Orlando Magic announce preseason series with Miami Heat, plus Christmas Day game time

The Orlando Magic formally announced today that they will face off in a home and home preseason series against the Miami Heat. The first game will be played in Miami at the American Airlines Arena on Sunday, December 18th at 6PM. The second game will be played in Orlando at the Amway Center on Wednesday, December 21st at 7pm.

The NBA also just confirmed the previous report that the Magic will be playing as part of the 5 game Christmas Day Schedule. The Magic will visit Oklahoma City to face off against the Thunder at 8pm EST on Sunday, December 25th to start their season. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The Magic will also hold their “Select-a-Seat” event at the Amway Center on Saturday, December 10 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  Fans will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets and partial plans, while choosing the best seat location.  It will also be the only way to guarantee tickets for the preseason game against Miami before they go on sale to the general public.  Single-game tickets will go on sale the week of Monday, December 12.
