Hornets-Magic Postgame Locker Room Interviews

Despite shooting 5-of-24 from the field and 0-for-9 from 3-point range in the 4th quarter, it’s very intriguing to notice the Magic players harping about how inadequate their defense was rather than pointing the finger at atrocious offense. Some Orlando players mentioned how they’re definitely missing Glen Davis’s presence late in games as Coach Vaughn’s group has lost 3 straight games without Big Baby being available.

JJ Redick: “It’s kind of like Darwinism and survival of the fittest. Our offense is not very good so that’s a reason why our defense has been good.”

Arron Afflalo: “Glen’s going to be out for a little bit so we have to compensate.”

Jameer Nelson: “It doesn’t matter how many points I score, I’m trying to win.”

Nikola Vucevic: “This game was a little different. We just couldn’t get stops…We’re not a team that’s going to outscore you.”
