Bobcats-Magic Postgame Locker Room Interviews

2013 January 18

All you have to do is watch the JJ Redick clip and you’ll see plenty of frustration and a slight hint of confusion and speechlessness as to the inconsistency of this Magic team. Effort hasn’t been much of an issue this season, but mental focus was invisible in this Charlotte game Friday night. If they’re looking ahead to Dallas, hopefully Orlando performs much better on both ends of the parquet court.

JJ Redick: “I don’t know what we were doing offensively. I’d be more concerned with our lack of toughness on the defensive end.”

Nikola Vucevic: “We respect every opponent. In the position we’re in, you always have to respect somebody. We’re 14-25…we just didn’t play well.”

DeQuan Jones: “Middle pick-and-rolls, side pick-and-rolls, that’s what engaged our bigs and they just capitalized off of it.”

Arron Afflalo: “It has to start with the veterans, guys that have the most responsibility, we have to do it as a group.”
