Raptors-Magic Postgame Locker Room Interviews
When the ‘basketball gods’ and other worldly forces start getting mentioned, odds are you’re slumping really badly. When you feel your defense is sufficient and the effort is there and you’re still forced to see guys like DeMar DeRozan stick daggers into you with every crazy jump shot taken, it’s tough not to throw your hands up in the air and scream ‘why me!’ Frustration, discouragement, veteran responsibility. All of those words are being jumbled up together to create a snowball that will eventually turn into an avalanche of anger and rage if this Magic team can’t start winning games promptly.
JJ Redick: “I just think the basketball gods are against us right now. They’ve turned their backs on us. We need to get back in their good graces.”
Glen Davis: “I expect much of myself. It’s gonna come. It’s only my 6th game back. It might take 10 games for me to get back.”
E’Twaun Moore: “It’s getting frustrating, I wouldn’t say discouraging. We still have a spirit that we’re going to win every game we go into. Just have to keep that attitude.”
Arron Afflalo: “I thought we had some key stops, just have to do a little bit more of it.”
