Pistons-Magic Postgame Locker Room Interviews
This Orlando team is now 8-16 at Amway Center this season, so maybe a 5-game road trip is the antidote necessary to clear the team’s collective head. Redick as usual cared more about the team result than any personal accomplishment, Big Baby keeps beating himself up, and Jameer is the stoic leader. Maybe motivational books are the answer. It’ll be intriguing to see how Nik Vucevic performs in Philadelphia, even though ‘Vooch’ is downplaying it. Nik knows how disrespected he was when that Dwight-Bynum transaction occurred and that Vucevic’s play has more than done enough talking.
Glen Davis: “I decided to get off my ass and be more aggressive in the 2nd half.”
Videos of JJ Redick, Jameer Nelson and Nik Vucevic after the jump:
JJ Redick: “It just seems like it’s getting more and more frustrating. The way we’re losing is tough. But we can control our mindset, our attitude, our perspective over these last 9 games before the break. We have a chance to use this road trip to get better, and we will, we will.”
Jameer Nelson: “The good thing is that we haven’t separated. It’s easy to do when you hit adversity, but you also have to do something to get out of that adversity.”
Nikola Vucevic: “It’s been a rough stretch for us, but we’ve just got to keep grinding.”
