Game Preview: Orlando Magic @ New Orleans Hornets
After another blowout loss, this time at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies, the Orlando Magic will be right back in action Monday when they take on the New Orleans Hornets. Orlando’s loss dropped their record to 16-44 while the Hornets enter with a record of 21-39.
Behind 29 points from Robin Lopez and 27 points, eight assists and six rebounds from Greivis Vazquez, the Hornets earned a 97-94 victory over the Magic in December. Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 28 points and 10 rebounds.
The Magic rank 26th in offensive rating (99.6), 26th in defensive rating (106.4) and play at the league’s 17th-fastest pace (93.88). The Hornets are 14th in offensive rating (102.6), 27th in defensive rating (106.7) and play at the league’s second-slowest pace (91.07).
Tip-off from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana is scheduled for 8:00 pm EST. The game will be shown on Fox Sports Sports Florida.

Former Magic forward Ryan Anderson is averaging 16.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for the Hornets.
Anthony Davis, the #1 overall pick in last summer’s draft, has a sprained shoulder, but will return.
Jameer Nelson continues to be listed as doubtful due to his knee injury. UPDATE: Nelson will play.
