Game Preview: Orlando Magic @ Houston Rockets

The Orlando Magic suffered through another loss Saturday, falling to the Atlanta Hawks 97-88. The Houston Rockets are coming off of a 98-91 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. Jameer Nelson has already been ruled out for tonight’s game with a sprained ankle and James Harden is also likely out. Chander Parsons missed the morning shootaround due to food poisoning and it is unclear if he will play tonight.

The Magic are now 19-55 while the Rockets enter with a record of 40-33.

These two teams met a month ago at the Amway Center. The Rockets, behind 24 points, eight assists and seven rebounds from James Harden, rallied for a 118-110 victory. Tobias Harris led all scorers with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

The Magic rank 26th in offensive rating (99.4), 26th in defensive rating (106.8) and play at the league’s 15th-fastest pace (94.38). The Rockets are sixth in offensive rating (106.8), 17th in defensive rating (103.6) and play at the league’s fastest pace (98.50).

Tip-off from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas is scheduled for 8:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.
