Game Preview: Boston Celtics @ Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic finally earned a win, rallying to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-103 in overtime. The Boston Celtics are coming off of a 109-101 defeat at the hands of the Miami Heat Friday night.

Orlando enters with a record of 20-59 while Boston is 40-39.

These two teams have met twice this season with the Celtics winning both meetings. Back on November 25 in Orlando, the Celtics knocked off the Magic 116-110 in overtime behind a combined 47 points from Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. Jameer Nelson had 20 points for the Magic. On February 1 in Boston, the Celtics cruised to a 97-84 victory. Jeff Green led the Celtics with 17 points off of the bench while Nikola Vucevic had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic.

The Magic rank 27th in offensive rating (99.1), 25th in defensive rating (106.3) and play at the league’s 14th-fastest pace (94.53). The Celtics  are 22nd in offensive rating (100.8), fifth in defensive rating (100.3) and play at the league’s 17th-fastest pace (93.95).

Tip-off from the Amway Center is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.
