Magic strongly considering trading down in draft?
Multiple reports in the last twenty minutes are stating that the Magic are strongly considering trading down.
Orlando has been doing a great deal of work on players in late lottery-mid 1st round range, weighing possible deals out of No. 2 spot.

As I wrote today in the paper, I think the Magic still are considering trading the 2nd overall pick. Keep on eye on the T-Wolves.

While Orlando may strongly be looking at potential deals, it still is unclear what exactly a team such as Minnesota would be able to offer Orlando to move. Speculation regarding the 9 and 26 pick from Minnesota seems unlikely, as a late first round pick actually limits flexibility the team would obtain from a pick at the top of the second round. Derrick Williams, the former number two overall pick, is a promising player but is a similar player to Tobias Harris – and is owed much more.
Keep in mind that any deal would obviously be contingent on the player the Magic want being available, such as Cody Zeller.
