Magic-Heat Day 3 Summer League Postgame Interviews
Orlando’s down-slopping decline continued on Tuesday at Amway Center as their Summer League record is 1-2 due to a 94-80 defeat to the defending champion Heat. No one on that Miami squad played a role in those back-to-back titles, but you wouldn’t know based on the Orlando’s offensive struggles. The Heat swarmed Orlando with active hands and some extraordinary leaping ability. You know ball movement and player motion was nonexistent when Oladipo was the only Magic man to have more than 3 points at halftime. There’s not much to take from this contest other than the interviews after the disappointing loss in which the Magic didn’t even ‘win’ in a single quarter. Oladipo’s approach on watching film is inspiring and doesn’t conjure up worries about where his head is in this development process.
Victor Oladipo: “It’s another challenge I need to learn from, need to watch. Just need to correct myself in-game. I think I did a good job of that today. Just cut down some of the turnovers and stuff like that.”

James Borrego: “We just haven’t seen that type of pressure all training camp. You don’t see a whole lot in the regular season either for our young guys…they were the aggressor today.”
Maurice Harkless: “We did exactly what they wanted us to do. We let them speed us up and they controlled the pace.”
