  • Magic forward Tobias Harris missed Tuesday’s opener and won’t play Wednesday due to an ankle injury. Harris led the Magic in scoring after being acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade involving guard J.J. Redick last season.
  • The Timberwolves couldn’t stay healthy last season, missing Love, Pekovic and Rubio for stretches of the season.
  • In fact, Love, an all-star power forward, played in just 18 games last season. He still managed to average 18.3 points and 14.0 rebounds per game.
  • Pekovic has a thigh injury, but participated in the Timberwolves’ scrimmage Sunday and should be fine to play Wednesday.
