Game Preview: Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers
*UPDATE* Nik Vucevic is OUT for tonight’s game in Cleveland. Jason Maxiell will start in his place. Kyrie Irving is also OUT for the game for the Cavs. Jarrett Jack will start at PG for Cleveland.
The Orlando Magic are coming off of a blowout loss at the hands of Golden State Warriors on New Year’s Eve. The Cavaliers were last in action Tuesday when they were defeated by the Indiana Pacers 91-76.
Both the Magic and the Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 10-21.
These two teams met once this season back on December 13 in Orlando. The Cavaliers came away with a 109-100 victory behind 31 points from Kryie irving. Victor Oladipo had 26 points in the loss.
The Magic rank 24th in offensive rating (99.1), 13th in defensive rating (102.4) and play at the league’s 14th-fastest pace (96.91). The Cavaliers are 27th in offensive rating (97.4) 18th in defensive rating (103.8) and play at the league’s 17th-fastest pace (96.44).
Tip-off from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.
