Game Preview: Miami Heat at Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic dropped a heart breaking to the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday, blowing a nine-point lead with 1:04 to play and losing 87-81 in overtime. The Miami Heat also went down Thursday, losing to the Golden State  Warriors 123-114.

The Magic are 10-22 while the Heat are 24-8.

These two teams have met twice this season. The Heat blew out the Magic 120-92 on November 20 in Orlando and narrowly defeated the Magic 101-99 three days later in Miami.

The Magic rank 25th in offensive rating (98.6), 12th in defensive rating (101.9) and play at the league’s ninth-fastest pace (96.70). The Heat are second in offensive rating (109.2) ninth in defensive rating (101.3) and play at the league’s 19th-fastest pace (95.88).

Tip-off from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.

The officials for tonight’s game are Tom Washington, Dick Bavetta and Josh Tiven.
