Game Preview: Orlando Magic at San Antonio Spurs
The Orlando Magic fell to the Houston Rockets 101-89 in Dwight Howard’s second return to the Amway Center Wednesday night. The San Antonio Spurs blew out the Miami Heat 111-87 in a rematch of the 2013 NBA Finals Thursday night.
The Spurs defeated the Magic 109-91 in Orlando on November 29 behind 19 points and nine rebounds from Tim Duncan.
The Magic are now 19-44 while the Spurs are 45-16.
The Magic rank 26th in offensive rating (99.1), 17th in defensive rating (104.2) and play at the league’s 10th-fastest pace (96.04). The Spurs are seventh in offensive rating (107.5), fourth in defensive rating (100.4) and play at the league’s 12th-fastest pace (96.79).
Tip-off from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas is scheduled for 8:30 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.
