Game Preview: Toronto Raptors at Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic rallied to defeat Charlotte Bobcats in overtime Friday night 110-105. The Toronto Raptors were also in action Friday, taking down the Boston Celtics 105-103.

These teams met back on January 29 in Toronto and the Raptors defeated the Magic 98-83 victory. Kyle Lowry exploded 33 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds.

They played again on February 23 in Toronto. The Raptors upended the Magic 105-90. Lowry was excellent again, finishing with 28 points.

The Magic are now 21-52 and the Raptors are 41-31.

The Magic rank 27th in offensive rating (99.2), 17th in defensive rating (104.4) and play at the league’s 16th-fastest pace (96.18). The Raptors are 10th in offensive rating (105.3) eighth in defensive rating (101.7) and play at the league’s 22nd-fastest pace (94.51).


Tip-off from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida is scheduled for 6:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida. As always, if you can’t watch the game, you can listen on the radio – in English on AM 580 WDBO and FM 96.5 and in Spanish on AM 1270 WRLZ.

The officials for tonight’s game are Scott Foster, Eli Roe and Kevin Scott.
