Game Preview: Orlando Magic at Charlotte Bobcats

The Orlando Magic are coming off of a 119-98 blowout loss at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. The Charlotte Bobcats were also in action Wednesday night when they blew out the Philadelphia 76ers 123-93.

These teams met in Charlotte back on December 11 and the Magic came away with a 92-83 victory behind 17 points from Jameer Nelson.

They met again on January 17 and the Bobcats got 30 points and 16 rebounds out of Al Jefferson en route to a 111-101 victory.

They played again on March 28 and the Magic rallied and eventually won the game in overtime 110-105. Nikola Vucevic had 24 points and 23 rebounds.

The Magic are now 21-54 while the Bobcats are 37-38.


The Magic rank 27th in offensive rating (99.4), 19th in defensive rating (104.7) and play at the league’s 16th-fastest pace (96.09). The Bobcats are 22nd in offensive rating (101.4) eighth in defensive rating (101.8) and play at the league’s 21st-fastest pace (94.85).

Tip-off from the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.
