Game Preview: Brooklyn Nets at Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic were victorious on Saturday night, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 100-92. The Nets defeated the Miami Heat Tuesday night 88-87.

These two teams met back on November 3 in Orlando. Led by 19 points and 12 rebounds from Nikola Vucevic and 17 points and 11 rebounds from Andrew Nicholson, the Magic blew out the Nets 107-86.

They played again on January 21 and the Nets got a 101-90 win behind 18 points from Andray Blatche.

These two teams will meet again Sunday in Brooklyn.

The Magic are 22-25 while the Nets are 43-34.

The Magic rank 28th in offensive rating (99.3), 16th in defensive rating (104.5) and play at the league’s 15th-fastest pace (96.03). The Nets are 14th in offensive rating (104.7) 16th in defensive rating (104.5) and play at the league’s 25th-fastest pace (93.63).


Tip-off from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida.

  • Brook Lopez (foot surgery) is, of course, out for the season.
