Game Preview: Orlando Magic at Brooklyn Nets
The Orlando Magic were defeated by the Washington Wizards 96-86 on Friday night. The Nets were also in action Friday night, falling to the Atlanta Hawks 93-88.
These two teams met back on November 3 in Orlando. Led by 19 points and 12 rebounds from Nikola Vucevic and 17 points and 11 rebounds from Andrew Nicholson, the Magic blew out the Nets 107-86.
They played again on January 21 and the Nets got a 101-90 win behind 18 points from Andray Blatche.
Arron Afflalo scored 24 points and the Magic defeated the Nets 115-111 on Wednesday night.
The Magic are 23-56 while the Nets are 43-36.
The Magic rank 29th in offensive rating (99.5), 16th in defensive rating (104.6) and play at the league’s 15th-fastest pace (96.00). The Nets are 13th in offensive rating (104.6) 17th in defensive rating (104.7) and play at the league’s 25th-fastest pace (93.65).
Tip-off from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York is scheduled for 6:00 pm EST and will be shown locally on FS Florida and nationally on NBA TV.

- Nikola Vucevic* missed Friday’s game with a sore left achilles tendon and Dewayne Dedmon started in his place. He is listed as questionable.
- Alan Anderson (strained abdominal muscle), Andray Blatche (illness), Shaun Livingston (sprained right big toe) and Deron Williams (knee) all missed Friday’s loss to the Hawks.
- Brook Lopez (foot surgery) is, of course, out for the season.
