Report: Orlando Magic to interview Dante Exum and Marcus Smart tonight
The NBA Draft Combine began today in Chicago and teams are getting their first chance to interview the mystery man of the draft, Dante Exum. The soon to be 19-year-old Austrailian point guard prospect is reportedly set to interview with the Orlando Magic tonight, per Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

Exum measured in at a true 6’6″ with shoes on earlier in the day and a solid 196 pounds, including a 6’9.5″ wingspan. Marcus Smart, his top competition at the PG position in terms of draft slot, measured at 6’3.25″ with shoes and a monstrous 227 pounds. Smart also had a wingspan that was just a quarter inch shorter than Exum at 6’9.25″. The team will also be interviewing Smart this evening.
It should come as no surprise that Smart and Exum are interviewing with the Magic, as both have been heavily scouted for quite some time by the Orlando front office. This will also not be the sole time they speak with each propspect prior to the draft. Either way, expect both players to be under heavy consideration with Orlando’s two lottery picks.
Exum said he is a PG, not a SG. He said he excels in an up-tempo offense. His first interview today will be with #Bucks.

The Magic have also reportedly met with Lousiana-Lafayette’s Elfrid Payton, a 6’4 PG prospect who is currently projected as a late first round pick.
