CBS Sports’ local Orlando correspondent David Baumann is reporting that restricted free agent big man Patrick Patterson is in town to be courted by the Magic as a potential signing.

Patterson made about $3.1 million in ’13-’14. The 25-year-old was traded from the Sacramento Kings to the Toronto Raptors in December of last year. The 2014 playoffs were Patterson’s first in the 14th pick of the 2010 Draft selection’s career. In 7 postseason games, the Kentucky Wildcat averaged 10.4 ppg, 6.7 rpg, and 1.3 apg on 54.2 FG% and 38.9 3PT%. ‘Project Pat’ has transformed himself into quite the potential 3-point threat.

Patrick has played in 252 career regular season games – having started 61 of them – and averaged 8.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, and 1.0 apg on 48.6 FG%, 72.1 FT%, and 36.8 3PT% at 22.5 minutes per contest.
