Despite Dario Saric not playing, Canada’s national team still fell to their Croatian hosts 74-59 on Saturday in the second game of their back-to-back series. Orlando Magic big man Andrew Nicholson was Canada’s best player. Starting and playing 21 minutes, the 24-year-old tallied 16 points on 4-for-5 shooting from 3-point range and 2-of-5 on two-pointers as well as grabbing two rebounds. No highlights of the exhibition, but there is a boxscore. Miro Bilan dropped 26 points for Croatia off the bench, leading all scorers. The entire Canadian team was held to an awful 30.9 FG%. The contest was one again played in Slavonski Brod, Croatia.

Canada immediately hits the road to continue their strenuous European tour. They will be in Trieste, Italy on Sunday to play 3 games in three days spanning August 3rd-5th. Canada’s faces Italy on Sunday, Serbia on Monday, and Bosnia-Herzigovina on Tuesday.
