After sitting out Sunday’s defeat against Italy, Orlando Magic big man Andrew Nicholson was back in the starting lineup for the Canadian senior basketball team on Monday. In the second contest of their 3-game exhibition tournament that is being held in the Italian town of Trieste, Canada lost 78-73 to Serbia. The Phoenix Suns’ 27th overall draft pick from June, shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, poured in 19 points in the Serbian win. Nicholson started at PF with Robert Sacre at center.

Andrew tallied 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting (2-of-4 on three-pointers) along with 4 rebounds. The 24-year-old only had three points at halftime. Below is Andrew’s shot chart from the contest. Notice the deep 3-point makes.

Canada is slumping on their European tour and will be desperate to notch a victory against Bosnia-Herzigovina on Tuesday.
