by Adam Papageorgiou

Details about the Orlando Magic’s 2014-2015 NBA schedule are beginning to be released. We know a few of the Magic’s preseason opponents. On October 7th, Orlando travels to Miami to take on their Sunshine State rivals the Heat. October 24th will be the return of Jameer Nelson to Amway Center as the Dallas Mavericks come to O-Town.

Add a new exhibition contest to the list: October 15th the Magic will host Brazilian squad Flamengo at Amway Center.

The news is courtesy of ESPN Brazil. Flamengo plays their home contests in Rio de Janeiro and they’re the first Latin American team to embark on an NBA preseason tour. Last season, they claimed the Brazilian National League title, the FIBA Americas League continental title, and their 40th ‘State’ championship. Their most notable player on their roster are Brazilian legend and team captain Marcelinho Machado. The team also just signed former NBA player Walter Herrmann. Flamengo will also be facing the Phoenix Suns on October 8th as well as the Memphis Grizzlies on October 17th.

Expect more Magic schedule details to leak in the coming days.
