The NBA’s Rookie Transition Program has been ongoing for the past few days. Orlando Magic new draft selections Aaron Gordon, Elfrid Payton, and Devyn Marble are in the Northeast learning how to transform from an amateur basketball lifestyle to a professional one. It’s led to some hilarious and fun moments, but also encounters these guys won’t forget. For instance, Elfrid Payton admiring his interaction with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar like any basketball junkie would.

However, someone has quite the sense of humor. Boston Celtics rookie Marcus Smart was tasked by ESPN’s SportsNation to complete a scavenger hunt involving other draft class members. That included selecting someone to put on a Superman costume. Actually worse, it was a onesie.

Smart could have chose anyone, but it had to be a Magic player. 18-year-old ‘AG’ was the man selected.

Not since Dwight Howard has an Orlando athlete put on the Superman outfit. Hopefully it’s not a bad future omen.
